MESSY CHURCH
Messy Church started in England in 2004 as an alternative to Sunday morning worship for busy families. Gatherings always include a meal, a bible story, and an activity; and gatherings are designed for whole families to participate in - not just the children.
Prior to the Covid-19 Pandemic, we offered Messy Church once a month at Long Reach United Church - families joined together to share a homemade meal prepared and served by church members, followed by stories and activities based on the season of the church year.
At this time we are hoping to be able to resume Messy Church in the near future - check back here for future updates!
